Doutone (formerly Fanatic) new Blast SLS windsurfing board focus is maximum performance with minimal effort. The Blast is a true all-rounder and excellent freeride / Freerace board. It does everything you ask of it and much more. Whether you’re just getting used to riding in the footstraps, or are doing you’re first jibes, or maybe want to be faster than your windsurfing buddies, the Blast will only impress. This design allows you to maintain control over the largest possible wind range. It’s design follows a V.Y.C.C. = Volume Yet Control Concept.  This means that riders can easily choose a 10 liter larger board compared to other brands without losing control in overpowered conditions. The increase in volume means the board feels more stable in light winds and also glides faster than boards with fewer liters, without losing high-end performance and control. Also, thanks to the thin rails, the BLAST can be jibe aggressively in experienced hands, yet thanks to the wide tail, it feels light and smooth even for advanced riders. This allows riders to make steady progress through all stages of the jibing process without the board ever “outgrowing” or becoming too big for your increased riding skills. Finally, the racier, boxier rails and further out loop positions allow the rider to push harder to get the board to fly over the fin and increase top speed. The tail cutouts reduce drag at full speed and give you an advantage over your friends. The BLAST focuses on maximum control and predictable driving behavior over a maximum wind range.

Construction:
SLS = Premium Sandwich Technology consists of 50 individual parts and components and is Duotones lightest semi-custom technology. Achieved through lighter raw materials and a higher carbon content and a sophisticated layup with a much higher amount to load spot point-specific patches, stringer and reinforcements. It’s important that these weight savings to not go to the cost of the boards durability. Duotone offers a 1 year unlimited warranty on these boards when registered online (dents excluded).
