Beginner Windsurfing Sails and SUP sails are designed to be compact, light weight and easy to rig. They are designed with less perimeter tension, fewer battens and use softer sail cloth materials. This benefits a windsurfer by increasing the feel of the wind filling the sail, depowers quickly to regain control of your sail and rotates easily when changing direction. As a result of their design criteria, they're relatively simple to rig, light weight and easy to uphaul out of the water. Most common sizes range from 3.5 - 5.8 m2 to best fit riders needs in this category. We offer recreational sails from Chinook, RRD, Aerotech, Ezzy and more.
