S2Maui Sails

The S2Maui brand was born in 2015 as the natural evolution of the legendary Barry Spanier and Artur Szpunar’s design collaboration which started almost 20 years ago.
Mission: S2Maui’s foundation is our passion for windsurfing and innovative design, continuously pushing for the next performance level. We are dedicated to the highest level of design quality built upon experience creating sails that powered many champions to the highest levels and brought stoke to passionate riders world wide.
Our philosophy is to offer the highest performance, quality and value, combining the ultimate strongest and lightest materials with the best designs. Our exclusive, US built, technical laminate sail cloths now include the new extreme strength, HyperBlue Carbon Spacelight™ used together with ultralight (50% less weight of typical sail cloth) Technora™ SpaceLight™ in our original “Carbon-Tech” premium load oriented construction. Continuing to push the threshold of ultimate lightweight and strength, for 2025 we have added “Ultra-HMPE” super-premium construction built with the lightest (65%-70% lighter than typical sail cloth) and most tear resistant sail cloth ever used in windsurfing! S2Maui’s high quality, high performing materials are a refreshing contrast to current industry trends of cheaper, lower quality materials. Our personal reward comes during daily sessions on Maui’s North Shore and through feedback from happy customers having the ultimate experience of the harmonious interaction of design, material, wind and water.
S2Maui’s 2025 model range marks the start of our 10th season and to celebrate, we are offering the most exciting and innovative one yet! We want to thank our loyal customers, distributors, shops and athletes, for your continued support which has allowed our brand to stay strong and continue to grow into the future together. In 2015, S2Maui developed our original warp-oriented Technora™Spacelight™ fabric, together with Dimension Polyant, and launched it to the edge of Space (literally, 100,000 feet into the Stratosphere). Since that day we have continued to lead the way in innovative design and technical materials.
