RRD designed this sail to be a perfect freeride all-rounder. It features a large soft luff panel that gives it plenty of highly controllable power, lifting you onto the plane effortlessly and remaining controllable as the wind increases. Everything about the Evolution is designed for ease of use, so you can simple hook in and enjoy the ride. Performance Construction for the optimum strength to weight ratio. The 4.5-6.0 – sizes are FULL X-ply construction for ultimate in durability. The 6.5+ sizes feature Monofilm windows and leech section for weight savings. The 5.5-7.0 = 5 battens for optimum handling. Wide tuning range – Adaptable and versatile in rigging. Everything about the Evolution is designed for ease of use, so you can simple hook in and enjoy the ride.

THE RIG:
GT SDM 60% Carbon Mast: This mast is both lively and durable in 60% prepreg Carbon construction. This 2-piece mast is a 64/76 bend and works great with this sail. Made in Europe. Their true constant curve 64/76 mast bends will match up with the majority of sails available in the industry and work well with bump-n-jump, freeride and camber induced sails. Constructed using pre-preg carbon to maximize quality, consistency and minimize weight. With 60% carbon content – these masts provide great durability, reflex response and performance. They are thoroughly tested for quality control, bend and weight consistency.

The Boom: A T-9 Alloy Monocoque design that is very stiff and light weight. It has a boom head that accommodates both RDM and SDM mast with removable RDM shim included. 29 mm size grip with comfortable boom eva with harness line markings. Loop-n-go rear and twin pin clips round out this top of line AL boom.

The Base Extension, Base and Uphaul: Chinook EP SDM Extension Medium and L (6.5), Aeron 1-bolt EP Tendon base, Dakine Uphaul. These parts round out the complete rig package with quality and dependability to ensure you great performance on the water.
