Gaastra Hybrid 2025 Rig Package: Ultimate Freeride All-rounder
The new Gaastra Hybrid is a one sail for all conditions from learning to wave sailing to bump-n-jump to Freeriding – this sail can truly do it all. It is package here as a complete rig – including; Sail, 2-pc RDM Carbon Mast, Adjustable Clamp-on Boom, Extension, uphaul and a rig bag.  This Rig option will be available in 4.7 – 6.4 rig sizes.  The 4.7 is a 4 batten sail, while the 5.2-6.4 are 5 batten sails. The Sail features a rugged and durable X-ply window and panels from the batten above the boom – through the foot of the sail. This reinforcement aids sail durability where it tends to be used the hardest. The area above the batten above boom – is made with C-film colored – to reduce weight and aid in responsiveness and control of the sail when powered up. The foot of the Hybrid HD features a pulley tack fitting for ease of down hauling and trimming of the sail. It also has a nice padded mast pad area – for foot and rig protection. The 4.7 is a 4 batten sail with adjustable top haul, while the 5.2, 5.6, 6.0, 6.4 feature a 5 batten layout with fix length luff sleeves.

The rig features a 29mm adjustable clamp-on boom, 2-pc 30% RDM carbon mast,  RDM / Skinny alloy 35 cm EP extension, 1-bolt Aeron EP Tendon base, Gaastra uphaul and a rig bag carrying case.
