The 2025 S2Maui Alchemy is an incredibly smooth, stable and versatile 5-batten wavesail with the greatest top-end wind range. Built in our premium Carbon+Tech construction, the extreme strength and low stretch of our new for 2025, Hyper-Blue Carbon Spacelight™ helps retain perfect shape and also allows us to eliminate any unnecessary material and excess patches, making the 2025 Alchemy lighter, more stable and responsive than ever. Transition to the superlight, strong and responsive Technora™ Spacelight™ in the upper sail body reduces weight further and gives the leech a faster reflex response. The final result is incredible stability and an ultralight, smooth and reactive feeling without equal. Classic, neutral handling during wave riding combined with outstanding stability and power allow the Alchemy to excel in all high wind wave and bump ‘n’ jump conditions. Superior upwind ability gets you back to take off points faster, and its perfect balance gives confidence in the air. For 2025, we fine-tuned the Alchemy shaping and leech for a smoother and more connected twist giving it a lighter, more efficient and responsive character. The extreme strength of our Carbon+Tech construction has allowed us to trim any unnecessary or cosmetic patches, reducing weight and giving the new 2025 Alchemy even lighter more balanced handling. We have meticulously gone through every design and construction detail to ensure maximum quality and durability.

Construction – Sail Cloth in detail:
S2MAUI’S SPACELIGHT ™ SAILCLOTH ADVANTAGE STILL AHEAD OF THE COMPETITION: Not all sail materials are created equal. In addition to warp carbon and x-ply, S2Maui’s original HyperBlue Carbon SpaceLight™ adds a bi-directional scrim base giving it superior stability and durability. Also, Technora SpaceLight™ has actual Technora™ warp yarns which have three times the tensile strength and 4 time the stretch resistance of “similar looking” styles that only use cheap black polyester warp fibers.
• STRONGER MATERIAL: Carbon warp fibers have eight times the tensile strength and Technora™ fibers used in warp and bias directions have three times the tensile strength of standard polyester fibers.
• LIGHTER MATERIAL: Technora™ and scrim matrix combined with double-pass laminated, light weight films reduces weight by 50% compared to standard 5 mil sail material. Technora™ SpaceLight™ is preferred in upper sail body because the thinner, low stretch Technora warp yarns allow for lower sail cloth weights compared to Polyester or even Carbon.
• LESS STRETCH: Carbon warp fibers used in highest load areas have 10 times less stretch than Polyester. Technora™ fibers also have 4 times less stretch than Polyester. This is necessary for specific load-oriented panel configurations. In Carbon+Tech construction, S2MAUI’S exclusive WARP-PATH™ engineered panel layout load-orients new HyperBlue Carbon Spacelight™ and Ultralight Technora™Spacelight™ material in its optimum location and direction to distribute forces throughout the sail body.
• MORE DURABLE: The scrim base and extremely strong Carbon and Technora™ yarns develop incredible tear resistance. Double-pass lamination ensures a perfect bond with adhesive on both sides of the fibers and helps prevent delamination.
• MORE UV RESISTANT: The opaque pigments on both sides of the laminate have outstanding UV resistance.
