2026 Starboard Futura Wood Sandwich – Refined speed, control and performance
The new Futura from Starboard – is available in 5 sizes.  The boards have been refined in the 110, 120 and 135 sizes. The 105 is unchanged (except for graphics). The 95 Size is new and developed to address the Defi Wind race event.  Refined cutaways and new triangle stabilizers are the new changes to the 110, 120m 135.  These refinements significantly enhance acceleration and peak speed.  The 110 FUTURA  sits more on the fin with minimal wet surface, boosting acceleration and top speed for dynamic performance. With revised cutaways and an integrated triangle, the FUTURA 120 offers improved acceleration and top speed, ensuring the board rides stably on the fin with reduced wet surface. Introducing a new shape the 135: fully revised cutaways dramatically reduce wet surface area. Experience instant acceleration, agile control, and an effortless, responsive feel enhanced by a unique triangle stabilizer. Engineered for Defi Wind, the FUTURA 95’s extra Vee, and 90cm flat deliver exceptional control in gusty winds and chop. Soft pads and optimized inserts ensure energy-saving performance. The 105 – is unchanged and a versatile board with balanced volume and a refined shape, delivering smooth, reliable speed and comfort ideal for long-distance racing and precise jibing.
