The Starboard Air Foil 7'9" Learner is a multi-sport board the makes getting started in foiling Accessible and Fun!  It caters for a range of sports, offering foil attachments, attachable side fin boxes for winging as well as a windsurf mount. Learn a range of wind sports and open the door to foiling with the Air Foil Learner.  Targets riders up to 120 KG. This model is the foil version of the Wingboard Learner, featuring an Aluminum top plate for direct foil mounting. Patented Top Plate Technology, with just 1.5 cm between your feet and the foil, provides direct feedback and improved control. Combined with the solid aluminium standing plate, it enhances the flight experience on the inflatable foil board, eliminating any wobbly sensations.
Its wide nose and Tail provide entry-level riders with enough stability, while the length and the parallel rails generate the glide and speed required to get going on foil. The Welded Rail Technology creates a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatable paddle boards stronger and longer lasting. All inflatable foil boards feature welded rails, both along the board and at the foil opening. A proprietary 3D elastomer compound that follows the contours of the board rail to create a release edge that allows the boards to fully plane yet fold and roll up. Thanks to this 3D Rail Edge, you can accelerate for the fastest and easiest take off possible on an inflatable foilboard.
Included with the board: a lightweight leash (70g only), Tiki Pump with dual nozzles for both board and wing, and a travel-friendly wheelie bag.

Equipped with an aluminum standing plate. Slot design now supports the same hardware used with carbon foil plates. Quick Mounting System – Track nuts lock into position on the deck side, allowing easy alignment. Mast-Side Bolt Access – Bolts insert from the mast side, making it easier to tighten the base securely without flipping the board.
