Select M88 Super Fast SL – High Adrenaline Speed Fin with Active Flex
For several years now, Select has been manufacturing fins with refined geometries. This type of very thin profile requires considerable development and impeccable full carbon construction. Computer tools and the careful assembly of prepreg carbon fibers allow them to calculate, correct, and control the deformations of the profile essential for good performance and navigation comfort. This new Select M88 Super Fast SL fin design features Active Flex : a combination of Flex (bending of the blade) and Twist (twisting of the profile). Under pressure, the lower part of the fin twists at an angle of 0° to 1.9°.  Selects technology allows them to block trailing edge twisting. When windsurfing, the pressure of the lateral forces exerted on the profile causes the leading edge to twist: creating a very vertical lift effect. This results in a reduction in the wetted surface area of the hull with incredible sailing comfort at high speed.
