Starboard Compact Rig 2026  – Idea travel rig for Windsup Inflatable boards
This updated Windsup package is ideal for ease of airline transport, limited storage space and compact vehicles. New Sail color and reinforcements. Updated and improved design for greater performance and stiffness that features sail with longer second batten, stiffer boom clamp and a more durable mechanical EP universal joint. This complete Compact rig features: foldable dacron sail, 4-pc epoxy RDM mast, 3-pc boom w/ improved clamp-on, AL skinny EP mast base (fixed 4.5) (adjustable 5.5, 6.5) extension with pulley hook included, EP mechanical UJ 1-bolt base, and compact carrying case. The sail has 2 battens, large viewing window and built-in mast pad. The boom is stiffer with new clamp-on boom head and integrated monocoque boom front section as well as improved tail and twin pin adjustment clip system fittings. EP Base Extension (5.5/6.5 only) is stronger and a sail pulley hook included. The Base is a mechanical 1-bolt for easier attachment in the water. The new Compact rig is an ideal rig choice for Inflatable WindSup boards, travelers, and persons with storage and transportation concerns. Available in 4.5, 5.5 or 6.5 m2 sail sizes.
What size should you choose?
4.5 m² = A versatile mid-size with balanced power. Works well for lighter sailors or anyone looking for more control in stronger winds.
5.5 m²  = More drive and speed for medium-weight riders. Perfect for early planing and developing stronger sailing techniques.
6.5 m²  = Maximum power and efficiency. Designed for heavier sailors or light-wind conditions, offering stability and full control.
